Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Adem SOP attended the workshop titled "The Mediating Role of Environmental Behavior in the Impact of Environmental Knowledge and Green Leadership Behavior on Environmental Performance: A Study on Employees and Managers of Hospitality Businesses."

Tourism stakeholders (municipality, non-governmental organizations, tourism businesses, and university) from the Fethiye destination attended the workshop organized for the project named “The Mediating Role of Green Behavior in the Impact of Environmental Knowledge and Green Leadership Behavior on Environmental Performance: A Study on Employees and Managers of Accommodation Businesses,” supported by the TÜBİTAK 3005 program. After the opening speeches, the relevant stakeholders made presentations on Fethiye's tourism data and the work they carried out within the scope of sustainable tourism. In the second part of the workshop, Prof. Dr. Umut AVCI moderated, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Işıl ARIKAN SALTIK, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serhat Adem SOP, and Lecturer Duygu BABAT participated as academic speakers. In this session, a discussion was held on the development of green policies for the Fethiye destination. Opinions were gathered from tourism stakeholders other than academics, and the applicability of green policies was evaluated.
